Terms and Conditions of Course Bookings
“Client” shall mean the employer of the delegate or the Company entering into this agreement for training.
“Delegate” shall mean any person accepted on a course.
“Course” shall mean any course of training arranged by AJ Training UK and published on its website or literature, subject to the Terms & Conditions outlined below.
“Trainer” shall mean the person employed by AJ Training UK which agrees to locate and engage suitably qualified personnel to present the course advertised. However, the trainer is fully responsible for the content of the courses.
A course will have deemed to have commenced when the first scheduled session is conducted.
The Terms and Conditions specified within constitute the entire contract between AJ Training UK and the Client. Where they conflict with any other Terms and Conditions submitted by the Client, AJ Training UK Terms and Conditions will take precedence. No variation to these terms is permissible without written confirmation from the AJ Training UK.
AJ Training UK reserves proprietary rights, as detailed within The Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, on all course notes and material provided for a client or delegate. No portion, either in part or totality, of any course notes or material may be reproduced or transmitted in any form as laid down in The Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 without the written permission of AJ Training UK.
Provisional Bookings can be accepted by any means including telephone, fax, email or text. A booking is only regarded as definite when a completed booking form is received and the remittance has been received in full prior to attendance. Provisional bookings must be confirmed in writing within 5 working days.
The fee per delegate will be the fee agreed by AJ Training UK and the client, plus VAT at the current rate.
An invoice will accompany confirmation sent by AJ Training UK of delegate(s) registered on the course.
The fees must be paid prior to the commencement of the course unless otherwise agreed in writing by AJ Training UK.
A delegate may lose a place on the course if payment has not been made.

AJ Training UK reserves the right to change the agreed venue (if not at client premises) or trainer, or both, on any course described on the AJ Training UK website or literature.
Should AJ Training UK find it necessary to cancel or reschedule any course, the client will be offered an alternative course or a full refund of fees.
The Client is entitled to cancel any booking under the following terms only:
- If you cancel your course more than twenty (20) working days before the commencement of the course you can be refunded 100% of your course fee, minus any costs incurred for the booking (expenses incurred by AJ Training UK for training rooms or other expenses directly as a result of the course that cannot be reclaimed from third parties).
- If you cancel between eleven (11) and twenty (20) working days before the commencement of the course you can be refunded 50% of your course fee, minus any costs incurred for the booking (expenses incurred by AJ Training UK for training rooms or other expenses directly as a result of the course that cannot be reclaimed from third parties). Alternatively you can transfer your course to an alternate date within three months of the original scheduled date.
- Any cancellations less than or equal to ten (10) working days of the commencement of the course are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Delegates may be substituted without penalty provided written notice is received by AJ Training UK prior to commencement of the course.
No refund of fees or transfers are allowed in the case of delegates who fail to attend.
Conditions of Booking
If the course is held in a location other than in the client location, full details of this venue will be sent with booking confirmation. Delegates requiring accommodation are responsible for their own arrangements, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Limitations of Liabilities
AJ Training UK agrees that the courses will be provided using reasonable care and skill and, as far as reasonably possible, in accordance with generally accepted industry standards and within the times referred to in the registration form.
Except for the limited warranties set out above, AJ Training UK makes no warranty of any kind with respect to the courses and hereby expressly excludes all other warranties, conditions, all other terms or guarantees, written or oral, express or implied, statutory or otherwise including without limitation, any implied warranties, conditions, all other terms or warranty of merchantability, satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose of the course or course material.
AJ Training UK shall have no liability to the client for any loss, damage, costs, expenses or other claims for compensation arising from any course material or instructions supplied by the AJ Training UK which are incomplete, incorrect, inaccurate, illegible, out of sequence or in the wrong form, or arising from their late arrival or non-arrival, or any other fault of the AJ Training UK.
Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by AJ Training UK negligence, or as expressly provided in these Conditions, AJ Training UK shall not be liable to the client or the delegate by reason of any representation (unless fraudulent), or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the Contract, for any loss of profit or any indirect, special or consequential loss, damage, costs, expenses or other claims (whether caused by the negligence of AJ Training UK, its employees or agents or otherwise) which arise out of or in connection with the provision of the course (including any delay in providing or failure to provide the course or their use by the client and the entire liability of AJ Training UK under or in connection with the Contract shall not exceed the amount of the charges for the provision of the course.
AJ Training UK shall not be liable to the client or be deemed to be in breach of the Contract by reason of any delay in performing or any failure to perform, any of AJ Training UK obligations in relation to the course, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond AJ Training UK reasonable control.
Views expressed by trainers are their own and AJ Training UK have no liability for advice given or views expressed by any trainers within the delivery of courses or in any notes or documentation provided to delegates.
Acceptance of Terms
No variation can be made to these terms without written consent of an officer of AJ Training UK.
These terms of business are deemed to be accepted by the client by virtue of the completion of a booking form for Software Training or any other training provided by AJ Training UK.
